Meet the Orange Region Winemakers

Angullong is a family owned winery located on the southern foothills of the ancient volcano Mount Canobolas. The vineyard is renowned for its Italian and Spanish varieties which complement their more traditional wines.

In Wagner’s opera ‘Tristan and Isolde’ Brangayne, the handmaiden, creates a love potion for her mistress, Princess Isolde, as an act of love on her own behalf. The same passion and dedication is expressed by those who create the wine known and respected as Brangayne.

Printhie / Swift

Owned by the Swift family, Printhie Wines is a 5 star rated Halliday winery and cellar door located in the high altitude, cool climate Orange region of NSW. Printhie also handcrafts the SWIFT sparkling range which is now considered one of Australia’s best.

Ferment, Orange Wine Centre

Meet Simon Forsyth owner of Ferment, Orange Wine Centre as takes us through a virtual tasting of just a few of his local favourites. Ferment’s full selection showcases wines from the Central Ranges of NSW and beyond, inviting patrons to experience a wide range of local wines while exploring the heart of Orange. All our cellar door wines are available on the pour (for tasting and by the glass) and for a wider range of wines our state-of-the-art Enomatic wine dispensers let you try the wines before you buy. Relax with a glass of wine, our famous Gin & Tonics, all matched with our ever changing cheese boards.

See Saw

See Saw wines are a world class expression of Orange’s pure mountainous cool climate. Estate grown fruit, nurtured using sustainable and organic viticulture, followed by minimal intervention winemaking, results in beautifully balanced handcrafted wines.

Philip Shaw

They say that luck is found where opportunity meets preparation. We’ve had a lot of good luck, but more importantly we have been persistent, hard-working and a little bit stubborn. Faith in our instincts combined with calculated risk have led to some beautiful moments of inspiration.

Ross Hill

In 1994, when Peter and Terri Robson purchased a property on Griffin Road in Orange, the Ross Hill Wines story began. Hard work, passion and dedication continue to be the key themes, with the goal remaining to produce exceptional quality and elegantly refined, cool-climate wines.

Swinging Bridge

With a commanding view of Mount Canobolas at 1395mt high, the Swinging Bridge vineyard and cellar door echos high altitude winemaking of Orange. These handcrafted wines reflect their unique provenance and winemaker Tom Ward’s passion for his region and his craft.
