In 2021, Country Food Trails was recognised in the new tourism business of the NSW tourism awards with a highly commended award. They were also winners of the new business category in the Western NSW business awards in 2021.

The Tasting Trail - walking tour, Orange

Indigenous food tastingIf you love food and history and you want to learn a lot more about why Orange excells, this is the tour for you. Stroll with them through the historic town of Orange. Discover the regions gourmet hidden gems and local foodie institutions as well as their proud Indigenous food culture. Our First Nation guide and elder, Gerald will share with you his understanding and passion for indigenous food and the amazing edible plants that you can grow in your own garden. Enjoy damper, biscuits and tea infused with indigenous flavours, whilst you learn more about these amazing ingredients and the health benefits that they also offer. The Tasting Trail guided tour is an easy 1 kilometre walk, suitable for all levels of fitness. This tour is wheelchair accessible and dog friendly.

The Farm Trail, Orange

Depending on the season, The Farm Trail could include hazelnut farms, cherry picking, stone fruit orchard, a saffron farm or even Australia’s highest olive grove. They’ll always include a visit to one of Orange's best vineyards for a wine tasting of cool-climate wines. Lunch is included on the tour.

The Village Trail - Millthorpe

Taste delectable local delights, browse quaint boutiques, and uncover history on your guided village walking tour. You'll also sample local cool climate wines while enjoying a platter of local produce for lunch. Millthorpe comes alive on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. On weekdays, expect a sleepy (most shops will be closed) village.

The Wine Trail - Private Wine Tour, Orange

You are welcome to select the cellar doors or allow up to use our extensive local knowledge and contacts, to plan the perfect wine tour for your group. They’ll take care of everything so you can relax and enjoy your day. This tour is dog friendly and tasting fees are included. Half or full day wine tours in Orange. Lunch options include degustation lunch on vineyard, charcuterie of local produce or a local restaurant.

The Saffron Trail

You'll visit a saffron farm in full flower, meet the producer, pick the flowers, strip and dry the precious stigmas and keep your very own freshly harvested saffron.  Saffron only flowers for a couple of weeks a year so don't miss this exclusive opportunity. Seasonal tour that runs each April.

The Wine Trail - Small Group Wine Tour

You'll discover some of our hidden gem cellar doors in Orange while learning about the region with a friendly local guide. When booking online, you can mention any cellar doors or wine preferences you have and we will accommodate where possible. Tasting fees and transfers to and from your accommodation are included.
