The Long Awaited Drop; The Orange Wine Festival is Back in 2021

It’s no secret wine regions Australia wide have faced some major roadblocks recently, and the Orange wine region is no different. A global pandemic, mice plagues, drought and bushfire have been huge hurdles for our vignerons, and they are now ready and excited to celebrate the long-awaited drop.

Tom Ward, President of the Orange Region Vigneron Association commented, “The Orange Wine Festival will go ahead this year cementing its position as one of the most anticipated events on the Orange region calendar. The festival champions the best new release cool-climate wines and spring produce from Orange and its surrounding villages, making for an ideal time to visit the region.”

The 2021 Orange Wine Festival program has been launched and is brimming with a huge range of events that showcase the Orange wine region at its best. Running from October through to December events include behind-the-scenes access to wineries, meet-the-maker opportunities, fantastic culinary experiences paired with the region’s award-winning wines and wine education sessions, a celebration of this unique cool-climate wine region - where altitude is the difference!

“The Orange Wine Festival is a definite favourite on everybody’s calendar, and we are thrilled to be supporting the festival again in 2021”, said Orange360 General Manager Caddie Marshall “After having to cancel the festival last year, it’s great to be back celebrating our wine region and showcasing it with others!”

Signature festival events include the 2021 Wine Show Tasting and Orange Wine Show Masterclasses both on the 11th December, and the ever-popular Night Markets on Friday, December 10th!
