5 Day Pottery Workshop in Wheel Throwing

Come and explore the skill of wheel-thrown pottery in this 5-day intensive workshop.

This workshop is for students of all skill levels.

It is designed to walk you through all aspects of wheel throwing, from making the pot on the wheel to trimming, handles and decorating using slip and scraffito, in real time.

This workshop is the full experience, learning to work with the clay at the right time is very important to be able to apply additions such as handles and decoration. In this course, you will be in full control of the whole process.

Costs include clay, glazing and firing.

Coffee and tea will be provided. Lunch each day can be brought with you or purchased at the Wildflower Cafe next door or Lime and Stone Cafe in Molong. They also have an IGA for any other purchases. 

For accommodation, if you are travelling group, attendees can stay at the beautifully appointed Sona, which is right next door, Molong Motor Inn or other BnB accommodations around Molong. 

Please bring along a hand towel.

Please wear comfortable clothes that are ok to get clay on.

Please wear enclosed shoes and tie long hair back.

Most importanly, bring your enthusiasm and a willingness to learn!
