Orange Bowen Therapy

Home  -  Things to doSpa & wellness

Bowen is good for relaxation and muscular pains.

Tom Bowen founded the Bowen Technique which is not considered a massage, but a gentle muscle release technique achieved by a series of gentle cross-fibre moves that have long-term benefits to ensure that the injury or pain is not recurring. The main purpose of Bowen Therapy is to find the origin of a problem and not merely the symptoms. This makes it extremely successful in treating pain felt in the ankle, knee, lower back and neck.

Bowen Therapy is able to address the original problem within the body making it able to treat a great variety of symptoms to provide relief to the patient.

Bowen Therapy is a very light therapy performed through light clothing which works by stimulating a cross-fibre muscle release. This stimulates the body to reset energy flows giving the patient a deep sense of relaxation. Regular pauses between moves allow the body to react to the sensation and kick-start the self-healing process.
