Ophir Reserve

The scene of Australia's first Gold Rush, Ophir Reserve is a rugged yet peaceful reminder of the colonial past. The first Australian payable gold discovery was made here in 1851, just 30 kilometres north east of Orange.

Bakers Shaft Reserve

Bakers Shaft Reserve is a beautiful reserve located along the Belebula River. Visitors can enjoy a barbecue with picnic tables provided and fishing. Free camping is also permitted.

Cudal Caravan Park

Cudal Caravn Park is a lovely leafy park perfect for those hot summer days. The park is located adjacent to the Cudal Swimming Pool and a short stroll into the village. Enjoy dinner at the Cudal Bowling Club from Friday to Sunday or visit the Cabonne, Food, Wine and Cultural Centre.

Junction Reefs Reserve Campground

Junction Reefs Reserve is a heritage-listed former mining dam designed and built-in 1896-7 to provide water and power to the nearby gold mine. Nowadays, Junction Reefs Reserve is a beautiful, secluded campground on the banks of the Belubula River.

Lyndhurst Village Primitive Camping Ground

Lyndhurst is the ideal location for a quiet country getaway without complete isolation. As an RV friendly town, a warm welcome awaits at the Lyndhurst Sports and Recreation Ground with the free caravan and campground facilities.

Molong Caravan Park

Molong Caravan Park is a lovely leafy park perfect for those hot summer days. The park is located adjacent to the Molong Swimming Pool, there is a service station on the corner or you can enjoy a walk by the creek across the road.

Silent Creek campground

With its large, grassy river flats shaded by casuarinas and protected by a rocky cliff, Silent Creek campground is popular with groups, especially 4WD clubs. Accessible only with a 4WD vehicle, it’s a great spot from where to explore the park’s fire trails that traverse eucalypt forests.

Terarra Creek camping and picnic area

Set in a natural amphitheatre on the valley floor, Terarra Creek camping and picnic area's location at the centre of the park makes it the perfect base for exploring.

Wanda Wandong campground

Wanda Wandong campground is set among native eucalypt and wattle trees in the north of Goobang National Park. There's plenty of space for kids to run around, and adults will love relaxing in the picnic area with its handy picnic tables and barbecues for a smoky, succulent treat.
