With the grower as your guide, wander through rows of apple trees where the apples for your pie were hand-picking and now will be transformed into a delicious homemade pie. As you immerse yourself in the orchard's charm, you'll gain insights into the art of apple cultivation and learn why the region is known as Australians Fruit Basket.
Back to the shop and it’s time to get busy, with a hands-on pie-making experience using fresh, local ingredients. The baker will guide you through crafting the perfect pastry and creating a tantalizing apple filling, complete with a few insider tricks to elevate your pie game.
At the heart of the workshop lies Grandma's cherished recipe, a testament to the warmth and tradition of homemade pies. Uncover the nostalgic flavours that have stood the test of time, creating a pie that pays homage to the past while embracing the bounty of the present.
To finish the class, indulge in a slice of Grandma's pie, served with Split Milk gelato and Little Big Dairy double cream.
