Join them at A Thousand Words Gallery with award-winning artist Gwendolin Lewis for an inspiring workshop in Soft Pastels.

The subject of the workshop will be Still Life, focusing on elements that hint of a Spring Garden. If you are new to soft pastels, Gwendolin will guide you through layering color on textured paper and will also demonstrate how tonal values contribute to a picture. The most exciting aspect of using pastels is that it combines drawing and painting simultaneously. Experience the exhilarating fusion of drawing and painting with pastels and unlock your artistic potential. On registration a list of required materials will be emailed. Some materials will be available to share during the class. The gallery now has an espresso bar and each participant will receive a complimentary coffee/tea and cake.
