Orange F.O.O.D Week is Australia’s longest running regional food festival and is widely considered of the nation’s best. Since its inception in 1991, it has become one of the district’s most loved events, by both locals and visitors alike.

The festival runs over ten days in April, showcasing the region’s high quality food and wine, and celebrating the local farmers, producers, winemakers, chefs and caterers who have helped position Orange NSW as one of Australia’s most aspirational culinary tourism destinations.

Highlights of the festival include F.O.O.D Week Night Markets, an evening event held in one of Orange’s picturesque parks, offering great local food, wine, cider or beer, live music and communal dining under the stars. Another signature event is the highly popular Forage where Orange shows off its breathtaking vistas as visitors take a magnificent 4km stroll through bucolic vineyards, while being sustained by a nine course degustation menu and live music along the way.

The festival is held during the peak of Autumn, the magnificent European trees Orange is known for ablaze with colour. It is the perfect time of year to acquaint yourself with the town and sample the flavours of the region.
