Jeremy Norris, Byng St Local Store

Jeremy owns the renowned Byng Street café in the heart of Orange serving up delicious treats and meals, as well as offering accommodation, events and catering. Jeremy loves the seasonality of the Orange region, after spending years living in Scotland this was the closest climate he could find here. After a long cold winter you appreciate the Spring and Summer months more! Jeremy can’t go past Spilt Milk Gelato for dessert!

Tommy Jeffs, Montrose House

Tommy led a colourful career in the fashion, entertainment and hospitality industries and has transformed what he calls ‘The Grand Dame’ of Canowindra’s heritage listed main street into a luxury B&B with dining. Jeff was recently awarded an OAM in the 2020 Australia Day Honours through his charity work and strong community spirit.

Fiona Schofield Millinery and Fresh Fodder

A genuine artist, Fiona makes the most beautifully unique hats, headpieces, veils and accessories of all sorts occasions, and also runs a small food producing business Fresh Fodder with her husband. Her top tips are to visit often and live like a local whilst you’re here. Embrace the weather and walk everywhere as much as you can! A visit to Mayfarm Flowers is a must, and enjoy Fresh Fodder dips, Racine Bakery sourdough, Second Mouse Cheese and smallgoods from Cured.

Tom Ward, Swinging Bridge Wines

Tom runs a family-owned cool-climate winery on the slopes of Orange and is passionate about supporting local produce. In his spare time he loves soaking up the scenery on a bike-ride, then taking his family to one of the local cafes for some breakfast or even just a coffee! Visiting the Orange Farmers Market each month is a must for supporting local!

Ben and Jess Stanley, Eat Your Greens, Eugowra

Ben and Jess run Eat Your Greens an events and catering business with a team of highly qualified chefs. Nestled amongst the splendour of the Mandagery creek they can cater for weddings and events for up to 150 people. They are passionate about quality, fresh produce and personalised, stylish service.

Penny May, Blayney

Penny supports the local arts industry through her work organising annual exhibitions, running workshops and leading the development a multi-purpose arts, community and exhibition space for the Blayney and regional community. Penny loves that her kids are growing up in a community where you know people on more personal level, and where there is always support. She looks forward to the big annual events like the Textures of One art exhibition and Orange F.O.O.D Week!
