Cabonne’s accredited Visitor Information Centre operates from the Age of Fishes Museum in Canowindra and proudly houses the 360 million year old fish fossil collection along with the State Fossil Emblem Mandageria Fairfaxi. See and touch these unique fossils, enjoy the audio tour as there is one for the kids also.

The local volunteers enjoy providing visitors with tourist information to assist you with all your enquiries.

The museum has a gift shop with tempting gifts, unique arts, crafts, souvenirs and hampers.

Little Fishes at the Museum

Join some science fun at the Age of Fishes Museum on the first Friday of the month. Each month, the little fishes study a new topic through fun activities, play and hands-on experiments. Registration is recommended. Also includes free entry to the Museum.
