Christmas shopping with a local flavour

Find some unique gifts at the Orange region markets

In the lead up to Christmas, the Orange Region is host to a number of markets, providing a great opportunity to get some unique and special gifts for your loved ones. While you’re there, fill your cheese boards and wine racks with home-grown products with ample local stall holders on offer.

We’ve compiled a list of the markets coming up between now and Christmas providing you with all the information you need to get shopping.

Holy Trinity Twilight Fair

The Holy Trinity Twilight Fair will feature over 40 stall sites, hosting a huge variety of treasures, such as home baked cakes and produce, wines, food, teas, plants, ladies accessories and makeup, books, candles, crafts and a trash and treasure. Don't miss out on the live entertainment, jumping castles, a slippery slide and the numerous raffles where you could win a week trip to the coast!

Date: Friday 8 November

Time: 8:30am – 3:30pm

Orange Farmers Markets

From chocolate to honey to flowers to wine, the Orange Farmers Markets provides the perfect opportunity to create a Christmas hamper of local produce. You can also grab a cooked breakfast and locally roasted coffee while you stroll through the various stall holders.

Date: Saturday 9 November then 14 December

Time: 8:30am - Midday

Location: Northcourt, behind the Orange Art Gallery (Oct – April), Orange Showground (May – Sept)

Frequency: Month, 2nd Saturday of every month

Blayney Farmers Markets

In the picturesque Carrington Park, Blayney you will find a selection of local produce to fill your antipasto platters this Christmas season. Your breakfast is covered with freshly cooked baked goods and live music to keep you entertained. Find some unique homemade decors to help fill your Christmas stockings.

Date: Sunday 17 November then 15 December

Time: 8:30am – 12:30pm\

Location: Carrington Park, Blayney

Frequency: Monthly, 3rd Sunday of every month

Cudal Village Twilight Christmas Markets

Cudal will will kick off the silly season with the Cudal Village Twilight Markets. Enjoy Christmas shopping to suit anyone in the family with a variety of handpicked local stall holders. During the event enjoy live music, the tree lighting ceremony, dynamic light up window displays and delicious Christmassy food and wine. Stock up on cheese for your cheese boards, gifts for Aunty Myrtle and your nephew Willie, enjoy some wine or beer and get the feeling for the great community of Cudal. The Markets are a family friendly event with lots to do for the kids including face painting, a jumping castle and tea with Santa and Mrs Claus.

Millthorpe Markets

Millthorpe Markets is one of the biggest markets this side of the Blue Mountains and is known for the quality and variety of stall holders it brings. With over 250+ stall holders you are sure to find all your Christmas present needs, and maybe a gift or two for yourself! The Millthorpe Markets is run by the Millthorpe Public School P&C with all funds raised going back to the local school.

Date: Sunday 1 December

Time: 8:30am- 3pm

Location: Redmond Oval, Millthorpe

Frequency: Twice Yearly, 1st Sunday in April and December

Millfest Street Festival

The Millfest Street Festival is held on the main street of Millthorpe in the weeks leading up to Christmas. With live music, local wine and breweries added to the mix of stallholders as well as the resident boutique stalls this market makes your last minute Christmas shopping a delight.

Time: 2pm – 7:30pm
