Visitors who want to enjoy local brews will not be left short of options thanks to a number of specialty retailers around town.

BORENORE

Small Acres Cyder

Known for its unique, orchard-to-bottle hand-crafted cider, multi-award winning Small Acres Cyder can be found just 10 kilometres from Orange on the picturesque foothills of Mount Canobolas in Borenore. Visitors to the region can visit the cellar door to discover how traditional cider is made and taste a delicious range of award-winning ciders.

Gracie’s at 4 Pines Brewing Co

4 Pines Brewing Company began in 2008 as a microbrewer based in Manly, on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. Within a few years, it had become the city’s largest independent brewery, and it now has outlets across the country, from Brisbane to Torquay and everywhere in between.

Badlands Brewery

Badlands Brewery was established in 2010 by long-time home-brewer, Jon Shiner, who has been executing his passion for brewing ‘dangerously drinkable’ beers ever since. Funded on a shoestring as part of Jon’s corporate-life escape plan. Badlands has grown organically, consistently and impressively.

Jones and Smith Distillery

Jones and Smith Distillery is a family-owned craft distillery located in Central West New South Wales idyllically situated at Spring Hill, between Orange and Millthorpe. Their spirits are 100 per cent authentically crafted and aged in the heart of the Central West. They use only the finest quality ingredients for their malted barley, botanicals and fruit, and are proud of their pure water supply.

BATHURST

Beekeepers Inn

The Beekeepers Inn was originally built in 1859 as a hotel, converting to a changing station for Cobb and Co, heading west to Bourke. The inn now houses the Beekeepers Inn Antiques and Collectables.

The Beekeepers Inn has an extensive range of fine Victorian furniture, Australiana, militaria, collectables, and French provincial items.

The Agrestic Grocer

Housed in a semi-industrial, semi-agricultural straw-bale/brick building and wearing its locavore ideology proudly on its sleeve, The Agrestic Grocer provides a unique shopping and dining experience. Local fresh produce and value-added product adorn the shelves along with a great selection of local wine.
